This 2013 Honda CBR500R is a one owner bike and it is as close to new as they get with only 1463 miles on it! It has an aftermarket exhaust which gives it a nice purr to it but is not obnoxious and loud. It has a 6 speed gearbox, a chain drive along with fuel injection. Looking to sell my, practically new, 2013 Honda CBR500R ABS. Only 1091 road miles on the bike. Runs like new, which it practically is, and has no noticeable cosmetic defects (beyond some light scratching on the chrome muffler and a scuff on the bottom of the front right fork). You can't beat this bike for a starter/mid range sport bike. If you want any more info just let me know. Being a 500cc and getting near 50+ mpg, it has been viewed by many as the perfect motorcycle, whether you are beginning or are looking for a fun, sporty, commuting bike. It has enough power to put a continual smile on your face while not having the deadly "kill you" power potential (that is never really used legally on street roads anyway) of a 1000cc sport bike. My brother-in-law who is a Harley enthusiast told me truthfully that while Harleys are unique, you won't have the fun on a Harley that this bike gives you... It is light and zippy and at the same time being oh so smooth. It is fuel injected and starts every time. Research it like I have for reviews and comparisons of this motorcycle to say the Kawasaki Ninja 300 or 650... You'll find that dollar for dollar, this Honda comes out winning. As far as maintenance, there is little to say because she is essentially new. I have followed Honda's maintenance schedule and have done the first oil change with Honda oil and a Honda filter. The next oil change according to the manufacturer is at 8000 miles or 12 months. I also have full gear including an Icon leather jacket, leather gloves, and leather over pants which go over your jeans. These I would prefer not to sell but would be willing to negotiate it into a deal if you need them.
