With a 450, all that power can help you erase a mistake, but on a 250 if you give an inch the rest of the pack is going to use you for traction. That’s why the new 2013 CRF®250R doesn’t give an inch. We took the 2012 Lites East AND West SX champion and gave it an even sharper edge. Updates include a larger high speed compression adjuster on the shock for improved low-speed damping, along with a stiffer fork spring up front and more high-speed compression damping adjustability in the rear. New Dunlop MX51 tires improve drive feeling and save weight, and new disc covers channel some of the 450’s style into the 250 class. Of course we’ve kept the features that put the CRF250R on the top podium box all across the country: its twin-spar aluminum frame, Unicam engine with fuel injection (new ECU settings this year for better low- and mid-rpm performance), and the exclusive Honda Progressive Steering Damper. All-in-all, it’s the most dialed-in 250 we’ve ever produced, which means it’s way more dialed than anything else on the track.

Taking a cue from our revised CRF450R, we?ve changed the rear shock linkage so you get a softer start and a stiffer finish. It responds to small bumps better, but still resists bottoming over really big hits. Fine-tuning the rear travel helps with steering during hard braking and on long, fast downhill sections. New suspension settings front and rear keep the balance right and increase steering precision. In addition, the CRF250R gets a new cylinder head and new camshaft, and new throttle body, airbox and intake boot, all designed to give you more user-friendly power. 2013 Honda Crf 250R, I have a Tom Zont motor modded honda. It has 24 hours on it. It was raced by Josh Osby in 2013 at a Loretta Lynn's regional and then at Loretta Lynn's national. It was then ridden by Harley Lucas in 2015 at three Loretta Lynn's regionals and the Baja Brawl. These are ALL the rides this bike has. It has been torn apart to the frame and everything on it is aftermarket. It's super clean and has a full FMF exhaust system and Tom Zont Suspension.
