Since the bike is a non-foot shifting automatic , Honda puts both front and rear brake levers on the handlebars for simplicity . This gives you plenty of leg room and allows you to move your feet all over the floorboards . As soon as you sit on the cushy 29 inch tall seat you can tell its built for the long hauls . The wind protection is amazing , the windshield is adjustable to your liking and your body does not get beat up by the wind turbulence . To me, the motor and chassis combo make this bike the ultimate touring machine . It is hard to imagine that a 900 pound motorcycle is so agile but it is . The aluminum box section frame is more like a sportbike and the corning , whether at high or low speeds , is amazing . The 1832 cc liquid - cooled , horizontally - opposed 6 cylinder is legendary for seemless power and longevity .
