2008 Honda VTX 1800N Spec 2, Comes with windshield and Passenger back rest. With a 5.3 gallon fuel tank it gives riders a great mileage range for cruising! The inspiration for the Honda VTX 1800N came in 1995 at the Tokyo Motor Show. After designers exhibited the Zodia Concept bike, they then began to work on the VTX series, which followed the theory that ""bigger is always better."" The VTX 1800N is indeed big. In fact, it is huge, and it is not just the exterior of the motorcycle that was designed on a gigantic scale. At the time of the 2002 release of the VTX 1800, the engine was the largest displacement production V-twin motor ever released. The pistons were the largest pistons ever created for a motorcycle or a car. Engineering a motorcycle of such magnitude was a huge step, and it gave Honda plenty of recognition. The VTX 1800N makes a bold statement. It was obviously styled to mimic vintage machines of the 1950s. The straight-cut, chrome exhaust tips and the wrap-around rear fender bring to mind the gorgeous motorcycles of the past. However, the VTX 1800N integrates the classic styling of yesteryear with modern technology and the luxurious ride that up-to-date suspension can provide. This motorcycle exudes sleek, noticeable style. The body and fenders are of polished, glossily painted steel, and eye-catching chrome is everywhere on the VTX 1800N. This motorcycle is not for wallflowers because it will get stares everywhere it is ridden. However, there is more to the 2008 Honda VTX 1800N than the spectacular styling. The mechanical aspects of this motorcycle are just as impressive as its aesthetic qualities. The electric starter and fuel pump make starting the engine simple. The engine responded flawlessly when test drivers twisted the throttle, delivering amazing amounts of power when driving in all gears. Somehow, the designers at Honda created a machine with relatively small amounts of vibration despite the monstrously large engine that the VTX 1800N carries. Despite the large scale of the motorcycle, test drivers reported that it handled surprisingly well. The machine is extraordinarily well balanced, and the brakes responded flawlessly. One appealing feature of the VTX 1800N was that this motorcycle was customizable. Buyers could enter the showroom and order from two distinctive build specifications. While the basics of both bikes were essentially the same, owners were able to personalize these amazing bikes in small details.
