1976 HONDA CB750K6This offering is for one completely restored 1976 CB750K6, VIN number CB750-2567568 engine serial number CB750E-2457049. This bike was restored from a very nice original low mileage 750. My goal in restoring it, was to give it a sporty feel and look with a few bolt on changes, but I kept it as true to a 750 as possible. It could be taken further down the Brat/Cafe path, or easily made original... better yet, ride the heck out of it just like it is! It never fails to turn heads. The overall condition of the bike before restoration was very good. Top Overhaul was performed on the engine. Cylinders and pistons were standard size and new rings were installed. Head and barrel surfaces excellent. Connecting rod side clearances good. Rod Pin end diameter good. All seals and gaskets replaced. Oil Pump good. Clutch disassembled and all friction surfaces were flat and still within new limits. Shifting mechanism is excellent and changes gears exceptionally well. ALL JIS cover screws were replaced with OEM HONDA screws. Alternator stator checked good. ALL aluminum covers had scratches removed and then hand polished. Valve clearances set. Intake and exhaust valves/seats were in excellent condition. Ground valves and seats. Guide and valve clearance was excellent except one intake valve was slightly out of tolerance. Replaced both with new parts. High Strength head studs installed. Carburetors rebuilt with new floats and jets. Dyna S electronic ignition, new coils, new spark plug wires and NGK spark plugs installed for reliability and little to no maintenance. Starts on first crank or kick. Frame professionally stripped and powder coated. Frame was checked and verified for straightness. Wheel cleaned and polished with new tires and tubes. Front and rear brakes were cleaned. Both drums and shoes are still within new limits. All visible parts polished to new appearance. Rear brake light switch was replaced. Front and rear fenders are excellent and only required cleaning and polish. Swing arm rebuilt and new shocks installed. Mac 4 into 1 hand wrapped exhaust. New main wiring harness installed. ALL electrics WORK! Regulator and rectifier were replaced with a modern solid state unit for reliability. Beautiful New Yamiya Fuel Tank and side covers!!! Forks were rebuilt with new seals.New boot gaiters. New triple tree bearings and races. New fork covers and dust seals. Carpy's Cafe racer clubman handlebar. Left and right British Halycon cafe racer mirrors. When possible,I purchased NOS or new Honda parts. Do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers.

This bike is incredible!!! The paint finish is still like new. The bike still has the original yellow paint in many areas that the factory brushed on. I bought this bike from the original owners brother. This motorcycle runs and rides like it did from the factory, and in fact looks to have the original tires or similar replacement ones. The original 4 into 4 pipes(341s) still look new with no dings or rust holes(there is a little surface rust around each area where the rubber connectors are at the very rear of the mufflers, not soft or rusting thru or anything like that(see pics). The factory anteres red paint still shines like new on the tank and side covers. There are no dents in the tank and no cracks in the side covers, and all connecting tabs on side covers are intact. The only thing that is not working right is the right side turn signal(the running light works and the rear light comes on when you turn the right blinker switch but it will not blink)I have checked the wires as best I know how and can not find a problem! The left signal works fine and even the beeper is functional. I guess a bike that is over 39 years old has got to have some quirk of some kind. The seat is original and in excellent condition. The front fender has a ding in the middle. The gauges all work and are not very faded so i know this bike did not see much of the elements that ruined so many speedometers and tachometers. The chain guard has a chip in it where a little rust spot has formed. All in all I would give this bike a strong 9 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being near perfect. The bike has the super rare factory locking fuel cap with two keys. The prior owner moved the ignition switch up to the top because he kept burning his hand on the exhaust when he reached down without looking where the ignition was(he kept the original bracket for mounting under the tank and I have it) The prior owner also installed a lockhart oil cooler system back in the day(I left it on because it is a good option to have)I have the original box it came in with all instructions. The original tool pouch is still under the seat. I did update the battery to a gel type new replacement one. I had the carbs sonic cleaned, but all orignal parts are still intact. I am running non-oxy fuel in it and she runs great. The inside of the fuel tank is still original and clean(I did also replace the fuel petcock with a N.O.S Honda one) I kept the original in case it is wanted. Please e-mail me with any questions or concerns. I feel my buy it now for $6000 is very fair for a bike in this condition(and all original) i do have some connections for shipping and will help with loading the bike. I forgot to mention that I also have the original 1976 Minnesota license plate that came on the bike when new.

Nice 1976 CB750K just finished this spring as one of my winter "bring back from the dead" projects. Bought in February as a running, but obviously stored (inside) for a long long time, she is now ready to go again and I really hate to see her go but time for a new project. Here is a list of what I have done: * New OEM fork seals * New fork boots *New halogen headlamp * Re-cleared lower fork tubes * New front wheel spokes * New IRC front tire * New front caliper housing, piston, bleeder and seal * New upper brake hose * New tapered steering head bearings (All Balls) * New superbike handlebars * New Grab-On grips * NEW FUEL TANK ( YAMIYA JAPAN) * New fuel tank lower trims * NEW SIDE COVERS (YAMIYA JAPAN) * New petcock (K&L) * New OEM air box boots * New OEM fuel line * Refinished fuel tank badges * New side cover emblems (all 4) * New seat assembly * New battery (Yuasa) * Yoshimura style exhaust (YAMIYA JAPAN) * New OEM master cylinder rebuild kit (rebuilt and painted) She starts up easily, idles and revs through the gears well. All the lights, horn and brakes work well. This was not a frame up restoration so please do not assume this is a "new" bike you would be afraid to ride. She will get a lot of attention and you can ride if every day if you wish. SHIPPING IS THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY, PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU NEED ANY ASSISTANCE IS ESTIMATING. THIS BIKE IS FOR SALE LOCALLY, SO IF THE BUY NOW PRICE HAS NOT BE REACHED...I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY.
