A little biased maybe but the Italians do it better. I've always thought Ducati created a design icon when the 749 and 999 bodies rolled out of Bologna. This is an amazing example of a bike that has been casually ridden and never tracked. In fact, last year it went on a mountain west trip of a couple thousand miles and worked flawlessly. Very clean body with normal wear and use. Never down or crashed, better than expected condition for year and miles. Belts and valves done within the last 1000 miles. I have all 3 keys which as I've learned is a huge expense and pain if you don't have them. Bike also comes with the original owners manual. In the photos is a rear track stand which comes with the bike if that works with shipping. Clean and clear Utah title signed off and ready for the new owner. Please view all of the pictures and videos where applicable and or come out for a look if you are able. Please be ready to buy when you click. Video walk around and running: http://youtu.be/m6yOfYJhQnk Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I can help you with shipping by meeting with your driver or using one of my resources. California or Arizona are very easy places for me to ship to, typically 300-400 or so. I'm just 20 min away from Salt Lake City International and can pick you up there. UShip has also been a great resource for shipping and can give you an idea as well, just click on the shipping tab on the listing to get a quick (typically higher than you can get) estimate. I am not a dealer, just a big fan of anything with a motor. I buy and sell a few bikes and cars a year and also help my friends list on ebay. I've sold hundreds of bikes and cars over the years and assure a smooth transaction. All vehicles in Utah are sold as is where is with no warranty implied. That being said I do my best to describe and photo things I sell including flaws that some may try and hide. I do and have missed things that others may find later. It's always best to come view a vehicle in person as I've experienced that things always look better in the digital world. I require a $500.00 non refundable deposit and full payment to be made within 5 business days from purchase. I work a normal job (at ebay in fact) but can arrange to meet you before/after work or on the weekends. Bikes and Automobiles are my passion and I often help friends list here on ebay. Feel free to call or text me with questions. Please do so before 11 PM and after 7 AM Mountain time. Jason 801-850-7801

For Sale 2003 Ducati 999s mono posto with only 6146 miles. The bike has aftermarket Xerox livery right now, but I do have the original plastic as well and will include it with the sale. Previous owner dropped it low speed so there is some very repairable road rash on the left side of the bike, just the left fairing. The front is fine. The left stock turn signal was damaged so its useless. I do have the right one and its also included with the sale. On the mirrors, if you have ridden one of these, they basically only show you your shoulders so I used bar end mirrors on it. It doesn't come with the bar end mirrors.. you can get them cheap on E bay. I installed front blinkers on the front fairing you can see them in the pictures as stock they are in the mirrors. The bike has a Termingioni Carbon Covered after market exhaust designed specifically for the 999s and it also has the Ducati Performance updated ECU that came with the exhaust with the proper Maps for the increased HP. Since it is an S model it has the Ohlins Front forks and also the Ohlins Rear Shock. The 999s has special light weight Marchesini Rims and has brand new Michelin Pilot 1 tires on it with 60 miles on them. It also has a brand new battery. I have a video of it running when I took these pictures so if you want to hear it message me an e mail address and I will send it. Starts on the first push of the button every time. The bike is a total monster, its light and super scary fast when you push it, and amazingly balanced and easy to ride on the street and in traffic, need I say the handling is simply amazing. With the Xerox body work it turns heads every time I ride it like no other. On to the other stuff. This bike has a salvaged NY title. The reason that it does and I want to be totally up front, is that I bought this bike from a owner of a Motorcycle Dealerships collection in Texas about 5 years ago. The previous owner had his collection in a garage with about 30 bikes in it. There was a 6 inch flood in the garage and some of his choppers and harleys were totaled. He also did not have all the bikes insured, so instead of using the bikes insurance, the entire collection was totaled and paid for by his home owners and flood insurance. The owner told me the bike was on track stands during the flood and the water didn't even touch the bottom of the fairing, when I got it and tore it down, it was obvious that no water was anywhere near this motor. The bottom of the motor is clean and there is no damage what so ever from water. not one bit. Its a shame how the law works on this. So with that said, in NY State if a bike or car is marked as salvage or rebuild it has to be inspected by the state in order for the owner to receive a title. This bike has been inspected and have a NY Title, so in NY you can take the title to dmv and register it. I believe the laws here are rediculous and most other states arent so strict. The inspector commented on how nice the bike was. This bike is in immaculate condition as you can see from the pictures, outside 2 things. 1 is the left Side of the gas tank has the dreaded 999 dent from when he dropped the bike and the handlebar hit the tank. I have seen it many times before and it is what it is.. the pant is not cracked on the tank, just a dent. there is a good picture of it. Lastly the heat from the exhaust has discolored or yellowed some of the paint on the back of the engine. This is common for the 999, and I had heat wrap on it and it came off a year ago. I never thought it would do that but its really effects nothing. Those are the 2 physical issues with the bike. This bike is in great shape outside that, its been maintained and loved by me, I am a Ducatisi for a long time. I am selling it because I need the room in my single garage and cant fit all my bikes in there and I honestly havent ridden it all that much as I spend most of my riding on an old 900ss and this bike needs to be owned and loved and ridden. With only 6146 miles on it its barely broken in. Someone will really enjoy this fine machine and it is as amazing to ride as it is to look at. All sales are final and bound to NY State Law. There are no returns. The bike is for sale Locally as well, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at all Payment, I require a 500$ deposit upon the winning auction via pay pal or a credit card. Winning bidder please message me and I will send you my cell to make arrangements for payment of the deposit. I then require the payment for the balance in full via bank, certified or cashiers check that must clear before you can pick it up. Bid winner must arrange for shipping the bike if its not to be picked up. The winner of this auction will be a very happy person with an amazing motorcycle. I hate to see it go.. its a piece of art.

Bike will also be listed at ducpro.com Inventory - Complete BikesCheck out ducpro.com for new performance parts and used OEM Ducati parts. Tools routine maintenance items and aftermarket parts. Article below was taken from topspeed.com The 2007 Ducati 999s Team USA is powered by the 143 HP 999cc Testastretta engine that delivers a track-hungry 143 hp and a Corse-derived low sump crankcase for consistent oil feed even during full race conditions. The extra power is delivered in a smooth, linear fashion to boost performance whether you are riding around hairpin bends halfway up a mountain or powering around a race track.Ducati’s considerable experience on circuits around the world can also be seen in the suspension: the front end features a TiN-treated 43 mm upside-down Ohlins fork with Teflon guides and top-out spring. The fork uses special bottoms for the radial-mounted, 4-pad front brake calipers, ensuring maximum braking performance. At the rear end the Ohlins shock absorber, together with the box-sectioned rear swingarm, maximizes grip and the control system with one-way valve acts on the rebound damping, allowing complete separation between compression and rebound functions. The triple-bridge front brake calipers are radial-mounted with four pistons and four pads, and are used in combination with 4.5 mm thick discs that are wide-mounted in order to ensure adequate cooling. The radial mount makes the caliper-fork mount assembly more rigid, thus improving braking system efficiency. The box-sectioned aluminum alloy rear swingarm (the same as the one on the 999R Factory race bike) gives the bike a more marked racing look and increases on-road grip thanks to its excellent rigidity/weight ratio. The 5-position adjustable foot rests are fitted as standard, to further adapt the bike to rider preferences, as well as the adjustable Ohlins steering damper with special cam, which enables easier repositioning upon altering the headstock rake angle (from 23.5° to 24.5°).All Team USA edition 999s are built exclusively for the North American market as a limited production run. Only 150 units will be made and each motorcycle will be signed by Neil Hodgson and Ben Bostrom on the tail section. The motorcycle will be produced only as a single seat version

Bike has not been used for the last 3 years. It's been built to be a very light and reliable race/track bike. I was really determined to shave as much weight as i can from it. So there are a lot of after hour parts and hours of work that went into the bike. I'm gonna try to list all, but i'm sure i will forget things. The bike has almost NO Stock parts. The bike handles superly with 200 in the rear. Will handle like a 600 with 190 rear. I also did a lot of research on the best setup for the bike. It's setup is spot on for me. The engine is very strong and smooth. - Engine sent to Eric Colbath (One of the best Ducati mechanic on the east cost) - Blue print and cam degree was done by him. $$$$- Port and polish was done by Bruce Meyer (No need to introduce him) $$$$$- Flywheel and crank was shimmed down to as much as possible and balanced by Ben Fox Performance. $$$$$- Pistal Hi-Compression pistons were put in. again was balanced with Ben Fox. $$$$- Ergal belt roller was put on to save weight. $$- Speedymoto water pump- yoyodyne Slipper clutch.- Race harness + all of the un-nessacery wires were taken out manually for weight savings. - Genesys Li-Battery (identical to speedcell)- New timing belt. - Stock red gas tank- Keyless START/STOP switch. - New Nemesis 2 ECU (has the map from what doug did) ($1100) - FULL HPE exhaust. The canister has few 100 miles on it. Replaced with a new one from DucShop. Much lighter than Termi. It's very much like a Leo Vince. - EVR carbon fiber Air Box with Runners (this alone is a $2200 part)- Stock airbox and runners. - Battery box has been removed and fitted speedcell battery. A lot of weight was taken off and cleaned the area. - Sharkskiz with perfect paint job on it. - All of the NON-essential bolts were replaced by lightweight strong aluminum bolt kit. - Titanium Front brake caliper bolts. - Titanium Front and rear brake disk bolts. - Speedy Frame sliders. - 16.5' Forged mag Wheels. I was told they were off one of the european made ones and they are lighter. I have few unused rear ntecs that i will throw into it. - 17' stock rear wheel- lightweight front 15 sprocket. (it has holes drilled to make it lighter)- lightweight rear sprockets (i have several….38,39,40,41)- New DID chain that i haven't even put on yet )- Starlane stealth lap timer gps- Most of the coolant hoss are replaced with silicon hoseSuspension - 27mm ohlins triple clamp set. - 999s SBK inserts ohlins upgrade to the R/T forks- 749R rear shock setup upgraded and setup by DucSop (fixed ALL my suspension issues) $$$$Brembo Brake master cylinder 19x18 Brembo Brake master cylinder 19x18 spareBrembo Clutch master cylinderGalfer lightweight front brake disk with aluminum buttons (takes around 1 pound off) and with brand new brake pads. Galfer lightweight rear brake disk. Woodcraft Black two piece clip onWoodcraft replaceable handle bar. woodcraft rear sets. GP shift lever.

At that time it was a road going, yellow 999M. In 2010, and with roughly 7000mi, it was converted to a track bike. The previous owner sold the street parts to try to recoup some of the money spent to make it a track bike. The wiring harness has not been cut, but the wires that would go to the lights have been unplugged and removed. The previous owner seemed to take good care of it. As far as track bikes go, this one is in really good shape, but you can see by the pictures that it has been used. It currently has Bridgestone RS10 (only one track day on them - around 100 miles). I'm selling the bike to purchase Ducati Streetfighter 848. I still have the original invoice. The bike cost $16k in 2004 and there is about $10k in modifications.I can send more pictures on request.PS: The stand in the picture is not included this sale.

2004 Ducati 999S Monoposto w/ upgrades. JUST IN TIME FOR THAT CHRISTMAS GIFT TO YOURSELF!Of all of the sportbikes I've had and ridden, on road or track, none handles with the confidence inspiring aplomb of this 999S. Compared to the bucking bronco nature of my 1098S this bike is like riding the couch...so smooth it feels as if it on rails, almost impossible to upset. Great front end feedback with strong, linear torque pulling out of the curves, it will have you pushing it more than most anything else you've ridden, too. I first rode a 999 demo bike at a track day on MSR Cresson and fell in love with the Ducati chassis feel and rheostatic torque, but wasn't enamored with the `new' look and didn't get one. Years passed and I got older, didn’t have to have more HP than the next guy, just wanted to corner faster and brake harder. I grew to appreciate the looks of the 999 more and ran across a beautiful sample that I bought. No matter your take on the exterior it has possibly the best looking cockpit on the planet. Besides the normal Ohlins Suspension upgrades from the base 999 this bike has:Full Termi Exhaust System with recently replaced muffler can and heat shield, 999R lightweight Swing Arm, Motoholders Aluminum Subframe (lighter & stronger than stock), Brembo Radial Brake Master Cylinder & Clutch Master Cylinder w/ hinged levers, new Pirelli SuperCorsa tires, recent cam-belt replacement, 12:00 Labs Speedo Calibrator, Carbon Fiber Hugger Fender, intake duct Covers and Heel Guards, aftermarket clutch basket / cover and finally an installed Trickle Charger Cable. It has enough subtle goodies to make it special and unique but not flashy. I much prefer understated appeal and performance than `in your face` styling. One of the best sounding bikes extant unless you prefer a 4 cylinder scream over a throaty growl. In my mind this is nicer on the ears of the people you pass; they'll tend to nod in silent approval instead of reach for their cell phones. I also have a spare right side fairing set, because over time the one on the bike has just started to develop a vibration crack in a corner of the plastic. This bike has 26,000 miles on it. It’s ridden regularly so it’s no polished garage queen, but it still looks superb and has very few cosmetic flaws, none major. Mature owner that knows how to take care of his mechanical toys, you will not be disappointed with this machine. Priced to sell at under 6,000, this is a timeless beauty with more performance capability that 99% of even very experienced riders can utilize.

2016 Ducati 959 Panigale Arctic White Silk, 2016 Ducati 959 Panigale Arctic White Silk The perfect balance Fitted with a new, more powerful engine with slipper clutch, ready to unbridle a racing attitude. Built on an improved chassis integrating a monocoque frame, together with fully adjustable suspension. Poised between road and track, between pure performance, technology and effortless handling, the 959 Panigale sports a breathtaking design. The ideal adrenaline-booster in the form of a Ducati superbike. Architecture The engine has been designed as a structural element of the frame. As such, its architecture has been completely reviewed to ensure the best design in terms of structure, weight distribution and robustness. The cylinders, at a 90° angle to each other, are mounted on the crankcase to produce a 21° angle between the front cylinder and the horizontal plane. This allows the engine to sit forward, optimizing the distribution of weight between the front and rear ends and achieving the perfect position of the fastening points of the cylinder heads into the monocoque chassis of the 959 Panigale. Essential Desmo During the Superquadro's development the need to control large valves with the extremely precise Desmodromic system prompted engineers to replace the belt drive of previous Superbikes, mounted on the first Ducati Pantah in 1979, with a configuration mixing both chain and gears. This chain drive efficiently synchronizes the crankshaft and camshaft, and thanks to an automatic tensioner, ensures constant reliability and a reduction in routine maintenance costs. Flawless Performance The Superquadro is the most potent twin-cylinder engine on the planet, and in the 959 Panigale it produces a fantastic 157 hp@10,500 rpm, and 107.4 N-m of torque @9,000 rpm. And thanks to the sweet nature of the L-twin, and Riding Mode options, the rider is able to easily modulate this tremendous power and tailor it to his riding style and road conditions. Transmission The 959 Panigale features an advanced six-speed transmission with large diameter gears for superior strength. Perfectly controlling the power put to the ground is a hydraulically actuated multi-plate wet clutch, which has back-torque limiting "slipper" functionality to prevent hopping of the rear wheel during aggressive downshifts. With smooth engagement, superb feel, and light effort at the lever, the 959's clutch helps keep the bike in perfect balance on the street and the track. Full Ride by Wire The opening and closing of the throttle bodies on the Superquadro are controlled electronically in a system called Ride by Wire. The absence of a mechanical connection between the twistgrip and the throttle bodies allows the engine ECU to regulate the power delivery by acting upon the throttle's opening angle; Ride by Wire makes it possible to have differe

track or race bike A great track or race bike. Florida salvage, non re-buildable title, so it can't be put on the street again. It will come with a Bill Of Sale, and the certifcate of destruction from florida. It runs great. Termignoni Race system, Gilles rear sets.I will include a race body/fairing kit with it. Comes with all it needs to make it go, but It needs better gauges, and If you change the included clutch hub, a lever, and motor cover, you could run it as it is. This is the last of the series, very well built compared to the newer ones. Braced swing arm, higher horse power deep sump engine. A MODEL OF PERFORMANCE AND STYLE The press has called the Ducati 999 the best-ever twin cylinder engine (MotorCycle News, the leading European motorcycle magazine). A peek under the fairing shows just how advanced this motorcycle is and the design focuses on rider ergonomics, making maintenance simpler by reducing overall complexity and, above all, offering top-notch performance. The L-twin Testastretta engines are very compact, making the finished motorcycles incredibly narrow and agile, much like their racing cousins. They also offer excellent torque and remarkably vigorous power delivery compared to four-cylinder engines. Ducati Superbikes have incredible acceleration and provide outstanding riding thrills. All the Ducati Superbikes are equipped with L-twin ?Testastretta? engines. Testastretta cylinder head technology allows a unique layout of the cam-timing system that creates a reduced angle between the valves. The result is a clean, compact combustion chamber that is also highly efficient, with flat-crown pistons that provide a perfectly smooth, linear flame front. The special design of the heads, together with the cutting-edge electronic engine control system, guarantees optimal combustion throughout the rev range and makes for smooth, effective riding at all times. The standard version of the 999 pumps out 140 horsepower at 9,750 rpm and 11.1 kgm (80.3 ft.lbs.) of torque at 8,000 rpm with a smoothness that makes riding sheer pleasure. The Testastretta engine in the 999 has a piston stroke of 63.5 millimeter and a bore of 100 millimeter; the reduced stroke limits maximum piston speed allowing increased rpm's and improved overall reliability. An exclusive oil pump feeding system, built into the Corse low sump crankcase ensures maximum oil flow even during extreme cornering and hard acceleration out of corners. Suspension on the 999 is fully adjustable: the TiN-treated 43 millimeter upside-down Showa fork works together with the Showa rear shock absorber, pivoting on the aluminum alloy rear swingarm ? derived from the 999 Factory, winner of the 2004 World Superbike Championship.

This is my 2004 999 that I was turning into a race bike about five years ago. Too many projects going on and this one has been on the far back burner for too long. Nemesis ECUTermignoni 54mm full systemWoodcraft rear sets20mm Ktech fort kit2005-2006 swing arm upgrade It has not been started since I stripped it and installed the nemesis ecu and started building it as a race bike about five years ago. Has never been crashed. The exhaust I bought used and is a little damaged along the bottom. Looks like some ran over a curb with it. What you see is what you get. Around 4400 miles. Gas tank is flawless. All road miles not track will include carbon belt covers and armor bodies upper fairing. Fairing is new and still primor. Will ship to the lower 48 states for $500
