Better than New!!One owner, purchased new in 2003 and imported from Japan. 1/2 faring from factory!!Odometer reads 6943km (4315mi). Had to change gauge faces for import but odometer still counts in kilometers. The only bad: Unfortunately she was knocked over in a parking lot and suffered a dented tank...The good from the bad is that instead of fixing the tank I got a new one and had the ENTIRE bike repainted so all panels would match.All decals are clear coated including the custom Ducati Wings emblem on the tank.Also on small blemish on rh fairing which is not noticeable. Offering for sale a very unique and highly customized 2006 Ducati SS 1000 DS. Started with a mint 2006 Ducati SS 1000, i always wanted to fit a trellis wing arm to a Ducati, i see all my Bimotas looking so good with that trellis frame that one day i came across a used Bimota DB5 swing arm and decided to go for the conversion. Together with a friend of mine Stan @ Moto&Motor in Northbrook IL and Randy @ Stradafab we were able to finalize the conversion and display the bike at Progressive Moto Show in Rosemont back in Feb,bike was a success, my friend had little boot but the bike was highly praised and admired by thousands of people. After the show i decided to go a little crazy with the built and have Randy make me an all titanium undertail exhaust,billet ti belts covers,sprocket cover and few other bits,fitted an Ohlins fork as well. Was able to source a solo seat from Japan and little by little time started to look and sound like a Bimota. I am very happy with the built and how the bike looks and rides, is one of a kind and razor sharp . The reason i am selling is because i was approached by some small firms willing to sponsor a bike/year for the next 3 tears to display at the Progressive Moto Show so we are already working on a new built for 2016. 2005 Ducati Super Sport 1000, For sale is my 2005 Ducati Supersport 1000DS This rare bike is for someone who wants a serious street machine that can handle the track. If you are looking for more information on the 1000DS machines, Ducati.ms is a great resource. The story goes that this bike was assembled by ducati race techs in the off season. Who knows if this is true or not but all of the work is professionally done and the parts are not cheap. The bike currently has 32k Kilometers on it, which is just under 20k miles. Belts are in good condition, valves are in spec, spark plugs were changed this past August. I also did an oil changes at the same time with Motul 300V Full Race Synthetic Oil. Additionally, the gas tank was leaking and I just had that welded at MCC in Villa Park, they also changed the gaskets and fuel filter at the same time, have paperwork to prove this. Brake pads are in good condition, tires have plenty of life left. The previous owner kept the bike garaged and so have I. Now for the goodies.
