Up for sale is a 1996 Honda Helix 250cc large scooter. Rides very smooth and handles great! Runs like a new one. Has a very slow oil leak. Does not effect riding. New tires 4 months ago. Will need a new tire again in the rear soon. Now has right at 21,000 miles on it. CVT clutch, drive belt, and transmission oil seals, EBC rear brake shoes, windscreen, digital instrument cluster cover, air filter and spark plug all replaced a couple of months ago. Carb cleaned and new cold start solenoid, O-rings, jets, air intake boot were also replaced during routine maintenance back in July. Fresh oil change. READY TO GO! This scoot has been ridden to scooter rally's including 2016 Amerivespa in Memphis, Blue Vs Grey rally in Nashville, and many videos of this exact scooter and it's adventures can be found on You Tube. This is a GOOD Helix. There are not many for sale around here anymore. Does NOT come with the top case shown in the video as I have repurposed that top case onto my Silverwing600. 2004 Honda Silver Wing, Injected Twin 600cc engine!! The 600cc Silverwing (FSC600) was by far Honda s largest scooter offering. Prior to the Silverwing, Honda s largest scooter had been 250cc (Elite 250, Helix, Reflex). Unsurprisingly, the Silverwing was Honda s fastest scooter ever, with a 0-60 mph time of 8 seconds and a top speed of 105mph. I was looking through the glove box, and I found some gas receipts that showed that on a recent trip, it got over 46 MPG. To achieve this, Honda designed their impressive 582cc parallel twin cylinder DACT engine. This compact workhorse put out 49.6 HP @ 7500 RPM and enjoyed an array of fancy technology. The Silverwing employed 4-valves per cylinder, liquid cooling and Honda s PGM-Fi fuel injection. On the open road the Silverwing does quite well. It has great brakes with discs front and rear. It has a Givi aftermarket windshield that has been added to it. This one is not without flaws. At some time someone has done their own two tone paint job, lets just call it a 10 footer. There are a couple of places where the body work has been broken, and repaired. This is reflected in the price, this is the most affordable Maxi-scooter that we have in stock. It runs, and rides correctly. If you can put up with some body imperfections, this is a heck of a value!!! Each bike goes through rigorous inspection, cleaning and examination before we feel comfortable considering it a part of our inventory and available for sale. The Reflex was introduced for 2001 and was sold by Honda until 2007 in the USA and Canada. {This one is a 2004} It was designed to replace Honda s long running and landmark scooter, the Helix. The Reflex remained basically unchanged over its seven year run. Honda did improve the alternator for 2004 to provide more power to run accessories. The Reflex offered a respectable top speed of 75-80mph, which was quite fast for a 250cc scooter and made the Reflex well suited for even highway travel. Unlike bigger maxi scooters, the Reflex retains most of the excellent fuel consumption you find in small to mid sized scooters, so you ll typically achieve around 65mpg in mixed driving. The Reflex motor is a nice reliable liquid cooled design. It s not a technological leader (ie. no fuel injection or 4-valves) but it s a rugged engine that is low stressed for a long engine life. The power output (19hp) is much lower than a 250cc dirt bike, but it s also going to last much longer because of this. The Reflex is designed for the open road, so riders enjoy a nice package of convenience features. The underseat storage area is cavernous with room for two helmets and even has a light. There s also a nicely sized glovebox that includes drink holders in the door and a smaller cubby hole nearby. This one is clean with only 2,025 Miles on it!!! Hello, selling a 1986 Honda Helix CN250, 250cc scooter odometer currently says 10246 Km, which would be 6366 miles. It's a little rough around the edges but it's a solid runner, since I've had it I replaced the muffler, variator rollers (replaced with Dr Pulley Sliders) and front brake pads. I'd say the two biggest issues with the scooter are the condition of the body, missing some plastic parts and some annoying vibrations at certain RPMs from body panels, and the fuel enrichment thing (the automatic choke) isn't working so on cold starts I just have to keep the RPMs up for about a minute and then its good to go. I also have another carb for it, and a factory service manual for the scooter. It's a fun scooter that will do highway speeds, I think I just want to try a dual sport motorcycle. 1986 Honda Helix CN250, 1986 HONDA HELIX CN250 SCOOTER 1986 was the first year the Helix was produced. It has a 250cc liquid cooled single cylinder motor, front disc brake, and rear drum brake. I rebuilt the front brake system, and both the front discs and rear drum shoes are like new. The tires are in very good condition as well. The scooter is 28 years old and has 41,831 miles on it, that's less than 1500 miles per year. It has a stainless steel after-market exhaust. It has a locking glove box, a locking gas tank, and a huge trunk. The trunk can hold two helmets, or several bags of groceries, and locks as well. The helmets are not included with the scooter. I'm selling it because I'm down-sizing and moving out of state. It is a large scooter, and can easily handle 2 people. I've heard tales of folks taking these coast to coast in the USA. While I've owned it, it has been garage kept. I am holding a clear title for this scooter. Things I have done to this scooter: Put on a new carburetor. Put in a new air filter. Installed a new spark plug Drained, removed, and cleaned the gas tank. Put in a new inline gas filter. I have used only ethanol free fuel in it since I have owned it. Drained, the oil, cleaned the oil screen, and put in new manufacturer's suggested oil. Drained the cooling system, flushed it, and refilled with new coolant. Drained the CVT transmission and refilled it with manufacturer;s suggested oil. Installed a new battery. Hardwired a Battery Tender harness to the battery, and the Battery Tender charger is included in the sale. Replaced and repaired some body work, like turn signals and running lights. Recovered the original double seat with a custom made seat cover. It starts quickly, runs well, and is pretty fast. Now, it's got almost 42,000 miles on it, and it does smoke mostly on start-up. It's in decent shape, but it's far from perfect. There's a few body panels missing (see photos), but they can easily be purchased on Ebay or other internet sites if you're looking to do a full restoration. The paint is pretty good considering it's the original paint job. The handlebar starter button was moved to just below the seat, (see photo) because the original one went bad when the previous owner had it. Everything works. It's retro looking, fun, and everyone waves and smiles when you drive by. I'm asking $1095.00 for it. Hello, folks; I am offering my 1993 Honda Helix scooter for SALE OR TRADE.This scooter is in fine condition and is fun to ride. It has a 250cc, 4-stroke, water-cooled engine with automatic transmission and belt drive. This bike was designed to cruise for extended periods at good speed. It can reach 60 mph and gets around 55+ mpg. odometer reads 18,952. ( I am the third owner after two elderly gentlemen from Oklahoma both deciding that they were getting too on in years to keep riding.) New front disc brake pads, manifold gasket, muffler bushing, engine oil, final drive oil and coolant. Carb was professionally cleaned a few weeks ago. Body is Kandy red with custom pinstriping and is in excellent condition. Seat is also excellent. Windshield is scratched but it's not the kind of windshield that you actually look through. Bike has a rear trunk and small glove box. Has clean title and new inspection. Scooter is reliable, fun and ready to ride. I am asking $1700 which I feel is a fair price for both parties. I will consider best offers.I WILL ALSO TRADE THIS SCOOTER FOR A LARGER MOTORCYCLE, (500cc+). The "trade for" bike need not be pretty, just mechanically sound and run well.
