1997 Honda St Series 1100, 1997 Honda St Series 1100, Listed is a near mint condition 1997 Honda ST 1100 motorcycle, cherry red in color with stunningly low miles, 11,350. This motorcycle literally looks and runs the same as it did when it was brand-new in 1997 minus a couple of very minor scratches which have to be viewed up close. The motorcycle is immaculate both mechanically and cosmetically. I am the second owner of this motorcycle, having owned it since 2003. The motorcycle has quite literally never seen a drop of rain. It has never been dropped. It comes with both "hard case saddle bags" and is in excellent running condition. Some maintenance work was done on the motorcycle in June 2015 - this includes a tuneup, replacing spark plugs, oil change, having the carburetor cleaned out, and the gas tank was drained. This was done because the carburetor had "gummed up" a little bit and the motorcycle was not running at 100%. And important note, there was never any rust in the gas tank. I travel quite a bit and simply allowed the motorcycle to sit for too long without starting and driving it. The tires were purchased June of 2015 and have 90% to 95% tread remaining on both tires. The tires are Dunlop high-performance tires. Motorcycle contains original tool kit plus owners manual. Also included are two motorcycle helmets and two rain slickers which have never been used. In addition, a battery charger comes with the motorcycle which will plug into any 12 V socket. This is truly a gem of a motorcycle. The ST 1100 is often times a more popular choice than the bigger ST 1300 motorcycle. I had an ST 1300 and will never buy one again. While faster larger it is larger and more cumbersome, not handling nearly as well. This motorcycle is also being listed two other places and is being sold locally, owner reserves the right to terminate advertisement at any time. Once the potential buyer places a deposit for the motorcycle, the potential buyer has up to seven days to pick up the motorcycle in Dallas Texas. Seller will do everything possible to accommodate buyer regarding transportation, etc. Please see below. *** if potential buyer places deposit on motorcycle and lives outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, seller will use airline miles to fly buyer to the DFW area at no cost to buyer using sellers AA mileage account. There is no guarantee the seller will be able to obtain a one-way ticket from buyers destination, wherever that may be, to DFW airport. It should not be a problem though, I have flown family and friends on more than a dozen occasions and I can't remember one time when it was a problem. As long as buyer is near a regional or international airport, it should not be a problem to get to DFW.
