I am selling my 2014 Yamaha Fjr 1300 ES due to not using enough to keep in the already cramped garage. I bought the bike October 2014, so it still has the remaining warranty in place. The Fjr comes with the Electronic Suspension package along with the standard features of the Fjr 1300 ES. In addition to the power windscreen, heated grips, and cruise control, I have added the MCL Riser plate to raise the bars, and pull them back to give a more upright riding position. Also I added the Yamaha Touring Windscreen for additional buffeting prevention, as well as the MCL highway pegs for increased leg comfort. These additions were definite improvements in making the bike more comfortable, especially over the long days spent in the saddle. This is one serious touring bike with tons of comfort features, and incredible power to boot. Unfortunately, one day after riding and while parking, I lowered the kick stand, slung my leg off the bike and the stand collapsed. I was able to keep the bike from hitting the ground with full force, but while easing the bike down I did scratch the fairing. I will tell you that the scratches were barely noticeable. In fact, if you weren't looking for them, you likely wouldn't have noticed them. I however took the bike to a local painter that paints custom paint jobs for restored classic cars for very rich customers that demand perfection! He also does custom rod and motorcycle finishes for builders across the U.S. I was prepared to have him possibly just touch up the scratches, but he insisted to put it back to factory condition that it should be sanded, primed, 2 stage painted, and clear coated. So that is exactly what was done. I kid you not that no one would "ever" notice the difference. There also is a slight scratch on one of the bags, but certainly not bad enough to merit a repaint. I actually was able to touch up that scratch to nearly un noticeable condition. I realize that while the fairing repair was done to specification, and that no one would ever know this, I am taking this into consideration while pricing the bike. Other than that, the bike is like new with only 1283 miles. This may change some, but not likely to. Please look at my feedback!
